| May's Photo ChallengeThis is our third month of challenges. This month is simply entitled 'Close Up'. You can interpret this in any way you want, this can include macro, but anything close is good. Pictures don't need to be underwater, this is open to our none diving friends too. The rules are the same, one entry per day, no wider than 640pix and remember we are a family site! This one was taken out in Cala Blanca at the dive centre as it landed on the whiteboard!..... | |

| This small cricket was sat on the bumper of the car. This image was taken with a Fuji F30 point n' shoot camera. Most of these types of camers have close up settings. Some cracking shots so far, but I know there a lot more that i've seen of other peoples to match some of these. | |

| That will be my turn again This picture is very small animal called a nudibranch, this particulur spieces is a Trinchesia Sibogae. These sort of creatures are often overlooked during dives. At about the size of a small fingernail, they take some finding - then photographing. | |

| Keeping it simple today - not too close, but a well framed water lilly. | |

| This nudibranch is a Sea Slug. It's one of many species and is about 1cm long but so beautiful. | |

| Choices - oh so many... for me this is the easiest category so far. I will bore you with marine creatures, animals or insects - but i have seen lots of your shots in the past that will be great to show off on here. If you are stuck and don't know how to upload, come along to the pub after a pool session, then we will show you. | |

| This moth was flying around a light catching ants at the Merabel appartments. A little over exposed, but still capturing the beauty and fineness of the creature. This is again taken with a point and shoot Fuji F30 with no editing or cropping. | |

| Back to underwater for today. Here we have nature working in harmony and co-operation (dig at the one that can't be named!) I know there are two pictures - I couldn't decide between them (and yes I am in charge). Both of these were taken along the west coast in Menorca. Again these were taken with the Fuji F30 with no edits needed. | |
