| Just back from Egypt having suffered a 20 (yes TWENTY) hour delay on flight back from Sharm. At least they put us up in the Hilton at Sharm for the night!! Sorry no reports during the week due to crap internet connection. Will post report & photos later.Just to say that air temp.was 36 degrees when we left, with 28/29 degrees water temp. More details later when I've got sorted out. | |

| A pleasant trip to the sun of Dahab for some diving.Nine dives over five days all at local sites - all shore dives. We used the services of the Sea Dancer Dive Centre - can heartily recommend them. The manager (Steve) is English, with a staff of several nationalities - Egyptian, Spanish, Danish, German and English. They were all very helpful and really knew the dive sites. The sites we dived at were Lighthouse, Islands, Moray Garden, Um Sid, Rick's reef, Canyon, Golden Blocks and Caves. Didn't managed to make it to Blue Hole this time, though I've dived it several times before. Bumped into Spongebob at Manchester on the way out - they were on the same flight as us heading for Sharm - and then met them again on the return (delayed 20 hours) flight. But we were put up at the Hilton Resort in Sharm for the night, which wasn't too bad. There wasn't a cloud in the sky all week - air temperature in the mid-thirties, water temperature was 27. Very pleasant indeed. Here's a few of my photos. | |
