Today was the very last flight of G-BOV

So whats this got to do with diving, well its the latest wreck to go in the water at Capernwray. With loads of people watching on, the Hawker Siddeley (HS) 748, which to those of us not up on our aircraft recognition is a full-sized airliner from the 1960s with a wingspan of 30 metres!

I will be uploading lots of pictures this evening!

ProScuba were the first to take the VIRGIN WRECK!!!!!

First to dive the G-BVOV at Capernwray

Diving the Virgin Wreck of this new feature at Capernwray was Doc, Andy, Jason, Jason Bro, Ian, Lisa and Pete.

We arrived just before 10 this morning - kitted up and straight in. Jason and buddy were down first followed quickly by the rest of the ProScuba team. Our objective was to photograph the plane and print the pictures for the site.

The viz was a little milky, not supprising giving a 7 ton plane had just landed! Great dive, thanks to the rest of the team.

Good couple of dives on this Virgin Wreck. Thanks to those who helped make it a good day, especially to Jason for loan of spare set of regs. Just a few pics to add to those Papa has put on. Jason was trying to move plane to a new position with rope I think!!!
