Well, This being my first time there i must say i think ive found my favourite dive site! or one of my favourites anyway:)

On our first dive we headed down the line to 40m on a mission to put some gnomes on the shelf . When we got down their neil had a problem and went up with jason ( he'll probibly explain ) . So anyway, i put a welsh miner gnome down, Doc had a meerkat ,Jason had a gnome he stole from his brothers garden and Dobs had 4 fragile glass flowers which he managed to get down without breaking .

After our surface interval and with Neil not diving again and Dobs leaving because of other arrangements. Doc, Smudge and I headed down the slope and along the wall at 40m then onto a plateau at around 35-37m and working our way up to look at the jib and then up to the surface Whereas Jason and Rob went to 40m+ on the second dive coming up around 20 minutes later.

And to finish off the day, Neil got his car stuck
I enjoyed today, Thanks to everyone who was there.

I great day and a fantastic dive site, thank you proscuba for yet another introduction to a new site. I will be back. I really enjoyed the dive and the company, good to try out the wing and the new fins. My verdict is - under the water the wing is fantastic, especially on descents and swimming, however on the surface it is like pushing a wall through the water and it keeps trying to put you back upright. That said I think I like it and I will be giving it another go soon..

I hope the photos comeout of the gnomes and flowers, it was fun getting four glass flowers with 40cm stems down there. It took some juggling of hands to allow for computer use and LPI, but Hey ho!! I guess it is the challenge that keeps us coming back..

Sorry I had to bail folks, but as it was we only got home around 18:20. So Emma only had an hour before starting the 13 hour night shift.

First Congratulations to Charlesworth & Ed on becoming our newest PADI Deep Divers


Today we had a plan! to add a few more new gnomes to the 40m area. So with Doc, Ed. Charlesworth and jason supplying some new gnomes we headed down to place them in their new home.

The weather was bright and sunny, a slight covering of snow high on the mountains around us provided a beautiful backdrop. We had a new recruit, Amanda come along to see what we got up to. She starts on thursday with her Open Water. For me the day was about getting wet, but on return to the car park, it was so funny to see Neil had grounded his car
