dotty and what a beauitful day

The best day at dotty ever two fantastic dives first to the gnomes at 40mtr bit of a free flow for Ange but all was well with Pappa as her Buddy, well in safe hands, or was that hand!!
The second dive was a bit shallower bit just as much Fun dropped to 32mtr and moved over to the shallow tunnel after a short hover over the 50mtr drop while Pappa lowered a torch to the depths. thro the tunnel and back to shore after a bit of fin pulling.
Sat while the Sun went almost down had a really great time thanks to the company that made it special, shame one or two didn't make it, maybe next time:lol:
Well the pictures below water are not my better efforts but have post them on face book and a sample of a few below.

Looking forward to Nemo now and a week off work will be Playing out around several dive site.....All welcome will post the days and venues as we progress.

I'll have to second the days diving at dotty . Good to have a few new dotty virgins along for the ride. For me :sleep:i t was the usual routes, but this site still amazes me even after hundreds of dives here. Crystal clear waters below about 15m with a viz of over 25m (unless you followed chuckie). Two good dives, good group and the weather made the day. One point to note, Ange experienced a free flow at 40m, no panic, training takes over - this proves why practicing and doing courses really help

Don't forget we dive most weekends: don't just be an armchair diver - experience the wonders of this great country 'underwater'

What a day! 2 excellent dives in the nice warm water. The first saw us go to 40m it is the first time iv been so deep and i really enjoyed it although i was a bit uncomfy but thanks to the grate crew round me i was fine. Thanks to mr and mrs frog for the nice refreshments. Cant wait for the next adventure!
p.s tink you missed a right day cant belive you wont do dotty!

Having read the above I'm not sure which would have been best to see, a dive at Dotty or Squirrel in a kilt

Thanks guys for a great day I've been hearing the tales about this site and not understood why its a favorite but now I do. Its a great site with so much to see both under and above water Being a quarry, its a vaguely familiar area but not being a commercial dive site its so quiet, well except for the gassing women

Its a fantastic dive, even when you come to the initial 30 m ledge and then have to drop over it to 40 m. Thanks again to Smudge for seeing the hesitation and helping me down I'd just got comfy at 40m when I hear a bang and a guching of air. No initial panic from me, look aound to see whos got the problem- ah no one else is looking like they have a problem, hmm maybe its me Once I looked at my gauge and saw the moving needle- thats going a bit fast, better find a Smudge!! Problem solved with no hesitation from him- he gave me the alternate and switched off my air. After a bit of ascent he gave me mine back and we carried on As Smudge said earlier, its amazing how so much time in the water practicing skills harboured the panic. Thanks to the great training it came with little thought- find Smudge, he'll know what to do At least I know what a free flow is now

Second dive was great again- so different from the other sites I've dived. Being able to see the shells of buildings and the fantastic formations in the rock faces. No problems so even better

Its definitely worth the trip, I'll be back for more
