Farnes Oct 2010

Hi, a pretty disappointing trip to the Farnes in that the weather gods were looking the other way and left us with a pretty shoddy selection of rough seas, driving rain and strong currents.

Out of 12 on the trip, 2 got to dive for about 20 mins (luckily me being one of the two) and the rest looked on from the boat :no: Sadly, many of them had travelled 10-11 hours from Berkshire to be there too.

Anyway, of the 20 mins dive, 10 were terrifying as we were swept about towards nasty looking rocks and the other ten when we could grab some kelp and stay fairly still were superb. Having lovely friendly seals come up for a cuddle and a nibble of fins was pretty magical.

I enclose a few pics (not great cos we were shallow and it was all a bit stired up) and a few video's - unedited as I haven't had time but still not so bad.

Or at least I would have enclosed a few pics except the pic uploader will only tell me I have won a new mini-cooper and won't allow me to upload :-(
