| Farnes 2010Once again our Mr Killburn organised our trip for ProScuba to the North East. Our Host was William and the boat of Glad Tidings, giving us a chance to dive around the islands of the Farnes. So thanks to Killa for sorting it all out and thanks to our skipper for his knowledge and skill at looking after us. Seals and clear warm water ment for some great diving. Today we had a little wind, leaving us with just one dive. I'm sure those involved will tell of there own exploits and adventures. Here are us on the boat today. Underwater pictures to follow soon.

| This weekend I only did one dive. My buddy was the Squirrel. Just over an hour swimming around with the seals. On this dive I had the new Fuji F80 point and shoot. This was the first time using this camera, so I do appologies for the quality. I will say this is a great camera, I just need to get the menus sorted. so here we go... | |

| What a fantastic weekend! I had gone with the intention of not diving due to my inexperience but after discussion with some of the other members of the group and with Pa I decided that I would go in today for one of the two planned dives. Due to a change in the weather the plan was changed to do just one dive and so I was uncertain. I decided to give it a go and did a 25 minute dive in a WET suit (I'm 'ard you know!!) I was so glad I did. To see the seals swimming with us underwater was fantastic and I shall never forget my first encounter with them. The place we stayed at was great and a big thanks to Killa for organising it and can I put my name down for next year please!! We had loads of laughs and is a good weekend all round. Thanks to Tink for the driving but not for the Snoring!!!! The one thing after a weekend like this?? I want a DRY suit | |

| Many thanks to all for a great weekend at the Farnes (again). The biggest thanks goes to Killa for organising this, now annual, ProScuba trip to the North East. Also a big thanks to William for the skill and knowledge he has for getting us the great dive sites. The seals were very playful on both days with some close encounters. My buddy was Ange for all dives although we did latch onto Squirrel for the first dive. The second dives was with Killa and Squirrel. Ange found a very large lobster and then Squirrel found an even bigger one. Took Julie up to St Abbs to show her the set up there as she has never been. Brill BBQ on Saturday evening. Thanks to Killa and Squirrel for the cooking. Then it rained, and then it really rained. By this time I was asleep. Sunday only one dive due to the conditions but still plenty of seal action and some more close encounters. Then one of the best return trips I've ever had, proper exciting. Brilliant trip. Thanks to Killa for organising, to Killa and Squirrel for cooking and thanks to all who went for a great atmosphere. As for those who didn't come - try next year, it is worth it. | |

| Once again a very good weekend was had by all. Thank you to everyone who attended and made it what it was. The weather in the whole stayed fine except for the mega rain storm on saturday night - bail out the bunkhouse!!!!! We had 3 very enjoyable dives throughout the weekend. These are always made better by the expert knowledge of William the best Skipper in Seahouses!!! Some pics of the under sea life. Who said the North Sea was dark, lifeless and waste of time diving!!! Lobster poking by Mr Squirrel!! | |
