Stoney Cove - 18th July Deep_s10

Stoney Cove was proberly the quietest i've ever known. We arrived just after nine and still managed to get in the car park at the lake edge!

Today we had Colin, Andy and Dan doing thier PADI Deep Diver Speciality, and Susannah doing a dry suit and deep adventure dive. Helping out once again for the fab Lex and Jason, thankyou to them both.

Stoney Cove - 18th July Icon_smile Four dives were completed by me, three to 30m+ and a potter on the top. So congratulations to Colin, Dan and Andy for doing and passing their Deep Speciality. Well done to Susannah for doing her Drysuit and Deep Dive.

I have just had a call from our friends at Stoney, they are waiting for photographic evidence of the young chap today who removed 293 litres of there finest water. They seemed to think it may have been smuggled out in a dry suit ????

Stoney Cove - 18th July Icon_silent This might just shed some light on things - Dan at 36m caught his dry suit on a sharp bit of metal. A hole then let the water in! here is the result Stoney Cove - 18th July Icon_rolleyes

Laugh we nearly wet ourselves. Stoney Cove - 18th July 365569 Andy Lex and myself surfaced after all the others due to the fits of laughter we were suffering from caused by Dan. Stoney Cove - 18th July 596531

He was sat on the top of the Hydro box pointing at the hole in his suit as the water level dropped and filled his suit. Stoney Cove - 18th July 309655
Unfortunately for me both Andy and Lex had already got their depth reading of 36 meters but because Dan had half emptied the lake I only managed 35.6m Stoney Cove - 18th July 510199

All in all it was a fantastic dive clocking up 8 dives this weekend for me thanks guys Stoney Cove - 18th July 81266
Well done to Colin, Dan and Susannah for there achievments but most of all to Dan for the best flood ever and for being such a good sport Stoney Cove - 18th July 939821

Well done to all of you, but especially to Dan. Happened to me on an ice dive, luckily not at 30+m. Wish I'd been there to have a laugh with you all.
