| I was contacted at the beginning of last week by City West Housing Trust in Salford. They had been running a competition for the staff to make someones dream come true. It was a play on the old 'Jim will fix it' run by the office manager call Tim. To cut a long story short - Ken won and his dream was to dive at Nemo 33, a few quick emails and he joined us over the weekend. Well done and hope you enjoyed it. | |

| Looks like a fun weekend. I am puzzled about the claims of 34 m deep dives in a 33 m deep pool. First I thought the explanation is, that the dive computers are calibrated for salt water but Nemo 33 is fresh water. But this actually reduces the measured depth value. So, what is the reason? Can the Belgians measure precisely, do the computer have an error of 3 %, was it high tide? | |

| We think Nemo is a bit like Venice, slowly sinking :-) | |

| When it was built the bottom of the tank was supposed to be 33m. It ended up 34.5m, some builders just can't measure! But with the weight of water the bottom of the tank as sunk. It is now uneven, no longer flat. We had nearly all the computers in the group record 34.6m, several at 34.7 and three managing 34.8m. | |

| I can confirm that my computer registered 34.8m. As smudge says the bottom is very uneven and sporadic. | |

| Did it get deeper due to the weight of the divers | |

| 34.8m for me too. I hope that everyone had a great time on the floating fun bus, known as the pride of bruge. I know I did. I would like to give special thanks to my roomies, Andy, Jack and Kenny. You all really made my weekend really fun and hopefully I will never have to use any of knowledge received in my 48 hours on intense education in that room. A big thank you has to go to Pappa Smudge for once again organising a fantastic trip and if it is possible I think it went even smoother than last years trip. Sorry, if the residents of room 3010 are relations to any of the members of this forum as I am sure they will have arrived home very grumpy and sleep deprived. Not to mention up to speed in everything from dive torches to the use of soap in rugby changing rooms. Also recognition goes to Mr Tink on completing dives 400 and 401. I hadn't forgotten I think I even congratulated you immediately afterwards. Not forgetting the now famous Mr Skies too. Does that mean that I too am a record breaker for being the buddy of the deepest rubiks cube solver -MMm!! probably not eh?!!! Thank you to everyone else too, that made for a fantastic weekend, with special mention to all of PROSCUBA , Elton, Donna, Paul, Grumpy Manuel, Amy and of course the singing quartet!!!
