Yet another great excursion up to the Lake District to dive at Hodge Close Just Kris, Chris and myself were the team for todays dive. Hodge is one of the most spectacular quaries we dive. Access to the waters edge is along a 200m tunnel, then you have to negociate the ladder. Once at the waters edge you descend into the dark water to a max depth of 30m. The water temparture today was about 8 degrees on the bottom. We ventured into the entrance to the quarries cave system to the first large chamber. The notices here remind you that this is a very serious dive. 45mins of adventure was had for this dive.
Once we had a short break we went to explore other parts of the quarry, including the upper cave system.
