Well there were five of us headed over to Capernwray today for a final xmas end of year midweek dive.
We went with a plan which was to get wet at all costs no matter what the elements threw at us.
So with the air temperature not rising above minus 3 all day and bright sunshine we achieved the following with the team below.
Team today:
Doc, Andy W, Charlesworth, Sammy, Tom.
Sammy and Tom provided excellent shore cover.
Dive 1
Water temp a constant 4 degrees, max depth 18 M, botttom time 44 mins.
Doc, Andy W, Charlie.
General tour onto the plane, across to container and new very small boat with a slow steady fin back across the plane and exit via camera on 3m platform to let shore cover know to get the hot chocolate ordered.
Dive 2
Water temp a constant 4 degrees, max depth 20.5 M, botttom time 44 mins.
Just two of us Doc, Andy W
General tour again, this time entry on shallow point on opposite side down over training platform and into sump i could only get 20.5 max Doc managed to scrape around for 20.6 max depth.
Keeping wall to left hand side across passed gnome garden to wessex and diving bell and again exit via camera on 3m platform to let shore cover know to get the hot chocolate ordered.
Absoloutley fantastic day thanks to everyone for great company as usual.
Also a big thanks to Grandma (Maggie) for a fabulous Beef dinner with Yorkshire Puddings afterwards at Sedburgh. Amazing Thankyou.
