Well done and congratulations to our three newest wreck divers!
Andy - Doc - Ange
Great Session with underwater mapping and planning, shore based practicals on equipment, fixed line use and jump line work. This Speciality needs four dives on wrecks and makes you look at them in a whole new light. Once again well done.

A glorious day was spent at Stoney.
I only did one dive do to sense kicking in after somebodies wedding reception.
I would love to say that on the second dive of the day I enjoyed 'watching' the wreck penetration but I would be lying. Even papa couldn't find the wreck, at first anyway. The viz was particularly poor with many students doing this months speciallity.
There was, however, a cracking thermocline at 13 metres..........brrrrrrr

Thanks again to Smudge and the rest of the crowd for another educational day at Stoney. Lex , Jason and Tink providing the support in the water, Tink being very patient while we swam around him trying to locate the Defiant
After the course we decided that 'Search and Rescue' will be our next speciality. That will give me another chance to use an excellent navigational tool, a tiny compas stuck onto my writing slate, which was as accurate as Andy's Suunto
Meanwhile here are a few pics from yesterday - sorry no underwater ones - too busy to take a camera
Smudges monopod now being used to keep DMs,TDMs and PTDMs under control

As posted another excellent day of learning with our mentor and dive god Sir Smudge.
An excellent learning curve and I will certainly look at wreck diving in a different light, I enjoyed the mapping and planning along with the out of water learning as enjoyable as the diving.
Another fabulous Pro Scuba day as usual.
Thanks to Tink, Jase, Lex for support. (and my gold presedential peg)
I can confirm that the compass that Doc has attached to her slate gives exactly the same reading as my Suunto compass,
