I'll be stopping in Eyemouth the night before, moving from the Home Arms to a B&B just down the High Street.

Accommodation seems very limited if anyone is thinking of going up the night before.
However I have also provisionally booked another B&B approx. 5miles from St Abbs, just off the A1,

Westwood House B&B
Houndwood
Grantshouse
TD14 5TP

If anyone would like to have this it is a twin room that I have reserved, but I can cancel it up to 2 days before if nobody needs it.
I can easily change the name on the booking on Booking.com. Price is £63.75 for the twin room.

Just message me - preferably on FB - if you would like this, if not it will be cancelled nearer the time.

I will be cancelling this reservation in the next 24-48 hrs if nobody want to take it from me for this weekend.
I'm still staying up there on the Friday evening.

Ok this is going ahead...

The plan is for a couple of shore dives. There is plenty to go at here, including the famous cathedral arch. Tides will be low in the morning. There is a little bit of a walk needed with kit and a short clamber over rocks.

Parking can be a little limited and is pay display. If we can meet about 9.30am in the car park.

Entry from the car park side is fairly easy just rough terrain, exit is harder.
Entry from the harbour wall end is harder, slippery and a climb down/up may be involved depending on sea level.

Shoulden't be a problem for a young fit man like you Smile

Young fit man St Abbs 18/6/16 197222

the picture I posted shows the lowest water and the worse climb. Singles are a good idea.

Weather not good for end of this week so I have returned home early, full of cold too.

Water temp at St Abbs still only 11 degrees but the vis is superb.
Predicted swell of 2m on Friday, 1.7m on Saturday, skippers Gary and Billy (Wavedancers) were more than likely cancelling this weekends trips.

So as I have cancelled my B&B for tonight and tomorrow and returned home my plan is to meet a friend at Capers on Saturday for a CCR dive, just had a repair done on it. Needs a few check out dives before anything deeper.
