| Pains me to say it, Jason is correct. As water is thicker than air light travels slower through it causing it change it's angle of spread. This is know as refraction. Comprehensive school physics. Tin pot instructors!!! Except for those returning deported ones of course!!! | |

I didn't know refraction was to do with the speed of light - learn something every day. Could I ask Mr. Bernd to give a definative answer please. | |
