Borneo & Australia 2011

Bit late I know but had a lot of pics to sort out and a billion emails and jobs to do, some of these you may have already seen on Facebook, but for those that haven't , see below.

In summary, Borneo is DEFINITELY worth a look both for diving and other stuff and be careful which hotel you stay at in Singapore if tall buildings frighten you.

This little fellah (well lady to be precise) paid us a visit in the night to lay her eggs (rubbish pic as the flash upsets them)


They collect the eggs and release the babies when the coast is clear of beasties. 77 eggs!

We stayed a couple of nights on Lankayan Island (just off the coast of Sandakan) - stunning location, and Coral in the best condition I have ever seen. Lots of small / medium sized stuff but no sharks or big stuff at this time of year. I heard Sipadan can be a bit better, but a big headache to organise and not really so good for the kids. Lankayan is a bit more "paradise" location.

Some of the other shots were of the inner barrier reef but I rate Borneo over that every time.

I think you must have some kind of goose fat fetish, it's all you seem to talk about, I find it quite strange !!!!

May I just say, as a woman who has had her ear to the ground lately, all this banter is putting people off this forum. I have had a few guys ask me what this goose fat talk is all about and lets face it...from the outside it does all sound a bit ...............maybe time to lay it to rest and see if some new people join us?
