Vivian Quarry, Llanberis

Saturday 19th July we were heading out to Trearddur Bay for the annual Pro Scuba Weekend and barb-que :cheers: The weather wasn't the best but due to get better as the weekend got on.
We all met at the Tesco's cafe in Bangor - Me, Jack, Ian, Smudge, Squirrel and Emma, with others coming on Sunday. We sent Smudge and passengers to check the sea and due to the North West winds we were blown out!!!

We the headed for Vivian.

The water was around 12 - 14 deg. No hood needed - Squirrel Early ice-cream head, before a good tour round the quarry.

The kettle was on between dives and light snacks had by all!!

The 2nd dive (hood on!!) was another tour round. Smudge and Squirrel entered the buildings, while due to Jacks consuption of air - guzzler we headed back via the boat. A practice of an out of air situation was practiced.

We were then joined by Mr & Mrs Frog for the barbi. They were fired up and built and a good time was had.

We then headed off home.

Just wish the sea had been flat - can't have everything.

a lovely day had both saturday for the short time we had, but sunday was again a great day.

Diving is mostly wet but so much fun
