| When you say taking apart, do you mean the objects or your garage. Because I do not believe you can see more than 6ft in your office until you meet a very dense pile of outdoor related objects.
I believe that one is the inside of cylinder head arrangement. One is a wierd angle of a dive knife on a shiny surface (you can see the serrations). The allan key thingy looks a bit like the top of a mountain bike headset. No idea what BDM is, but isn't it something rude!!!!

| Tidy the garage - don't swear at me.... and I can see more than 6 feet, might on be vertical but I can! I didn't say I could see them, I just said they were taken from approx 6 feet of my chair. AND they are all dive related. All I will say is Mr Dobbs as a couple almost nearly correct, well one is spot on at least, the other si right, but I need more | |

| The first person that got fed up with getting wet? All joking apart I don't know the guys name but he worked for NASA if that is the answer you are looking for. As what we know as a dry zip was originally invented for pressure suits as they're able to stabilise a pressurised air even in a partial vaccuum. | |

| NASA did not develop the suit zipper but commissioned it to be made!
BY BDM...In 1958 NASA commissioned the manufacture of the 6 Pitch for the Mercury and Gemini programmes. When confidence in their suit systems had been achieved, and the suit designs evolved, the Medium Duty zipper went to the moon in the Apollo systems. We are currently involved in the next generation of "off-world" clothing for space tourists.
Bercovitz - the owner of the UK engineering companies involved (Swiss Canadian) Doelter - the machinery designer (German Rocket Engineer) Mulka - the zipper designer and owner of the world patent (German Engineer)
Mr Bercovitz was an industrialist who employed Dr Doelter to lead a team to develop the mass production of a zipper designed by Mr Mulka So you have the B-D-M zipper, with a history going back to 1952. The name commemorates 3 men who struggled against great odds to make a sealed zipper.
