We have two new Technical Divers this week. Working for over two hours on Wednesday at Blue Lagoon then two fantastic 40m deep dives at Dorothea Quarry yesterday Very Happy

Well done to Sammy for completing her deep course combined with the Tec Basics which she started last week at BL.
(Before you ask this can be done at age 15 as a PADI Distinctive course by certain instructors)

Congratulations and thank you to Andy for doing the same and keeping her company ....
Good luck with the next part as Tec 40 is starting soon I believe.

Well done to Sammy for keeping her head clear, her own fins on and holding onto her own gloves at 40m when Andy had cold hands,
due to wearing his 'summer' 3mm gloves in 7 degrees!!
Sammy had planned ahead and packed her 5mm gloves. What a fidget Mr W is but she coped well with her buddy.

Andy has posted some excellent photos so I will try not to duplicate too many...

Both these two have done really well.

I'm sure Andy and Sam will say they as learnt a lot this week. The Tec Basics course teaches a lot of fundamental skills of TEC but keeping it recreational. This courses teaches you to set up and use twins and stages, shutdowns and more.

As for gloves... It so funny to see Andy take them off at 30m and realise that the 3mm is still warmer than nothing!

As part of your Tec training Andy, you will need to take your mask off next time (at 40m) and offer it to Sammy to hold while you get your replacement one on Dotty 20/7/2012 756333 That'll be cold!
