Diving Lanzarote

Just returned from a week in Puerto del Carmen and have had 5 days diving with The Dive Shop. Can highly recommend them.
Small clean operation run by Rinus van Geloof with his German/Swedish instructor Fin and English tDM Fleur. I had one to one guiding on 4 days, Was joined on the second day by Graham from Nottingham. Claire from Hampshire was also completing her AOW on my first 2 days there.
Diving was in the 32-43m range, plenty of fish life and some interesting caves, especially with at least 2 groupers coming into the caves with you to see where the shrimp were by torchlight, clever things. You can see why they were so big. There were plenty of octopus, cuttlefish, barracudas and little nudis and flavelinas to see. 3 seahorses and a very young octopus in the shallows, one trumpetfish, a butterfly ray and one angel shark. Plenty of other fish too.
Final dive included the Angel shark which was not going to move, despite our efforts to lift him out of the sand, but also we were priveliged to watch 100+ yellowfin tuna on a feeding frenzy at 23m, a high speed attack on many small silver fish, an amazing sight.
Photos to follow....

Simple plan of the dive sites, all easily accessible from the old harbour or a small beach. Dropping down to 45m with plenty of walls and caves to explore.
