Yes, while others were worrying about exams or planning their own instructor exams three of us headed off to the sunshine at Eccy. More developments there too as the base of a new reception has been laid and the shop has plans too. New changing rooms seem to be fine, well it was quiet in the ladies, busy in the gents I believe.
It looked busy on the surface but during our 2 dives we hardly saw anyone, not for a lack of vis, it was pretty good. From the plane you could see Perfect 10, from the girders you could even see that elusive playground. Even the sturgeon was happy, until someone kicked him in the shallows when he went up onto one of the entry areas.
Jack spent most of the dive squeezing into small places forgetting perhaps he was in his twinset not his single tank. He did do very well guiding us around the deep end, just one full circle I think. He didn't seem too happy to guide on dive 2 so I think I did most of that and the sturgeon chasing. Ian got some good full face shots, most of mine were from behind it.
Being on that Scottish Breathing Air mix Jack did not have the full benefit of the sturgeon experience, running a bit thin towards the end.
By the way Jack if you read this I will drop your phone in tomorrow and many thanks for that voicemail message tonight
