| Congratulations Ben did well yesterday, his first visit to Stoney Cove went smoothly with 2 good dives. Firstly a deep dive to 30m, then as everything was good we went on further to the hydrobox, still looking good so down to the bottom at 36m, where surprisingly the vis was even better, just dark. Nice gentle ascent then to the 5m ledge, a quick look at the cockpit, nice young pike living in there now, swan along for a few minutes, computers cleared and we were out. Second dive was to two of the main wrecks in the 20m area. Stanegarth, where Ben almost did not get into it, I think Smudge turned him a little and yanked him down, anyway he was in and followed Smudge through the wreck. A quick visit to the Defiant then off to the old helicoptor to check out the colours, up to the Nautilus. Bit busy there with lots of dsmbs being very slowly inflated or dropped. Ben and Smudge went under the pub for crayfish spotting, then we made our way out. Knowledge review checks in the pub, AOW done Well Done Ben Some photos from yesterday.... | |
