So where is everyone diving this weekend?

can anyone give me more info about this quarry , eg , contact names , how to get in , costs involved , surface cover , ameneties, safety boat, air fills, water clarity , opening times , equipment hire , health and safety rules, as I cannot seem to find anything about this dive site apart from a picture on this web site ?

Following Sat - RIB driving (too deep for me to dive as yet). Sun free looking where to get wet.

Most of us are at the Farnes this weekend but enjoy your diving where-ever you end up.

I was just following up on the post about Waterswallows Quarry at Buxton.

This is a private quarry outside Buxton in Derbyshire. The site is an altitude dive as it is over 300m. There are no facitilities. or amenities. To use the site arrangements have to me made with us, or a group with access arrangements to the site. ProScuba do not promote recreational individuals diving at this site. As an organisation we highly recommend all water user to be PADI rescue diver with a PADI Altitude Speciality and PADI Deep Diver certified (or BSAC or other agency equivelant) or be under the direct supervision of an instructor. Failure to comply could result in everyone being kept off the site, insurances could be void in the event of an accident claim.

When we use any site we provide our own safety cover and emergency water craft for fast in-water response. All our training and organised dives have full medical equipment, including oxygen and defribilation equipment.

Change of plans
No longer diving this Saturday So will have to play poker through Friday night into Saturday morning imbibing copious quantities of falling down water to help get over this tragedy
