Smudges birthday at dotty

Well another day another cert for good old sonic lol

Dive one took us out on the surface to the 40m line. As we decended we had a quick second buddy check at 6m then carried on to 40m. Unfortunatly this wasnt meant to be for our resident fish mr w who had yet another freeflow. Dotty really hates him at the moment. This also meant we lost doc but undetered charlie, smudge and myself carried on the dive. On our way up from 40m we swam through the short tunnel at 22m and carried on to the surface. Total dive time 29 mins

Dive 2 ill be honest i have no idea what we did as i was just following smudge but i do know that when i couldnt see any reference points i filled my dry suit with something lol. We got our depth, 40m again had a look at the jib of the crane and then the crane itself. Luckily due to a loan of some new regs from smudge andy managed this dive without a problem.

A very good day athough wet and miserable but it is wales so i didnt expect anything less. So thats me on 5 certs now and leaves only one more thing to say

An excellent if slightly wet trip to Dotty again yesterday for a birthday dip for Smudge and for Sonic to do 2 more deep dives to complete his deep dive specialty.

Dives as outlined above, with the 3rd Dotty freeflow for Mr W, at least we joined the others at 40.0m on dive 2 with the 'loan' of some regs, that right post looks good now Andy!

Dive 2 made up for the Plymouth cancellation with srong winds and a very choppy surface

It would have been nice to see a few more out, but we did have two great dives and had fun in the Welsh mountains, despite the rain.

Well it was the leaders birthday and we headed into our favourite location of Dorothea.

Diving staistics as posted above,

Dive 1 for me had to be aborted for me and Doc (sorry Doc) due to my primary free flowing at 30 m even after a shut down still no joy ! . They are now being serviced by Smudge as there is certainly a problem . Thanks Doc for good buddying as usual.

Dive 2

With smudge donating me a set of regs to the stop the free flow fund we had a fabulous second dive to 40 m to allow Sonic to complete his Deep speciality. Well done Sonic.


There were only a few of us to celebrate smudges birthday but we had a great time as usual on a Proscuba trip, great company great fun and yes we got very wet both in and out of the water.

thank you for the congatulations guys. i love diving with you all just wish a few more faces more faces could come and join our fun.

im not sure how much more diving my bank account is gonna allow me to do now this month but as always i will endevour to get wet.
