Sunny and hot again at Capers, just 4 of us went up to play with the DPV and have a good look around. Our first dive took us over to the horses then to the diving bell and onto the wessex. Here we spent ages with Sammy and Charlesworth taking photos, me taking video and Tom just buzzing around on the DPV. Then back via a few boats and horses, 2 sturgeon and lots of leaping trout.
After a very hot lunch we went to the plane, had a close encounter with a friendly sturgeon on the way down, Tom being able to stroke it. had the plane all to ourselves, so now with Sammy on DPV buzzing around and through the plane we had some fun there. Tom beat her in a race through the plane without a DPV. Then pottered over to the smaller helicopter and rig with Sammy going in and out of the container at speed. Lucky no other divers again.
Still hot and sunny after we had packed up, we had a drink with Rappy and Rachel who had arrived at lunchtime and had done one dive and found it quite cold after the Maldives. They are camping up there tonight and will be diving again on Thursday
sounds more like Sammy is getting lazier by the day these days Next she will be sending a stunt double in to dive for her so she has to do even less work After all we dont want her wearing her thumbs out pressing the buttons on her DPV
