It was hot
and busy at Capers on Sunday.
It was so busy at 9.45 am we had to take the last place in the carpark at the top end before they charged us rental for a luxury timeshare.
Sammy sat the first dive out so Charlie Tom and I had a swim out to the Orca, still sunny there with the clearest vis you could imagine in a British quarry. No students beyond the horses, (needing a new paintjob already), meant a clear view in that corner for us although Tom thought it was a seal on top of the Thunderbird with the moose's head, maybe he just needs glasses.
We came back via the helicopter and the big plane - what a change in vis there, so bad that it was clearer beneath the plane, students everywhere.
On our 5m safety stop, whilst taking photos of Charlies mad hair, vis was fairly good but had 2 divers descend vertically right onto my back.
Tom sat out the 2nd dive, so we went off to the back wall, vis poor there, but stopped at the dive bell en route and it was very clear there. Rest of dive we were in a featureless milky fog. Couln't see anything. Vis on the left side by Cesna and Podsnap was terrible.
