Christmas Meal

Many thanks for a great evening and meal.

Both Megs and myself enjoyed it.

Hope you all got home ok as the roads around Cleck were very bad with the snow

40 proscuba gang on a night out! Thank you to everyone involved and especially to Ed for organising our larger venue. The weather was threating things like last year, but everyone seemed to get there with no problems.

Awards given were:

Killa for the best organised dive of 2009 - with his farns spectacular!
Doc for Badge collector of 2009 - 14 in total
Channer for Dry Diver of the year
Achiever of the year went to Euan (mary)
Best Photographer went to sam for her stunning pictures of turtles in the red sea

Secret Santa... it was secret, but there seemed to be a shortage (I blame Zoe) - but i do hope everyone got something, it was only for fun. And Euan read the rules!

I really enjoyed the evening and the food was great. Good to see everyone.

Got home without too many scary moments but I just had to let the car do a sideways glide into a parking space but at least I made it down the hill!!

Can't wait to see the photo's (particularly the new swimwear)

I have attached a copy of the turtle pickies that I took in St Lucia. The camera was a loaned one so the quality is not fantastic, but hopefully you can still make it out.....

Fortunate to get the picture as the turtle was asleep on a wreck on which I dived, then it slowly awoke and drifted away. Starting from not more than a foot away from me....



See Pappa they do exist. I didn't realise we had to declare all things turtle. That said, the white balance etc is not good so Sammy is the worthy sole winner. It was only at about 18m (but the vis was fantastic - but thats the Carribean for you).

Thanks for a great night and hope to see you all on Sunday at Eccy Delph, but I really am waiting to see what the weather has in store first......and whether I can get all the pressies done on the Saturday (don't tell Emma, she thinks I sorted it ages ago).

Good prezies in the santa bag. I put 4 for in, for good measure... did I get one NO
But I did get a few early xmas prezies, Two bottles of whisky and a bath toy turtle thank you to those giving them to me... drunk hal f a one al ready

Now I don't know about everyone else... but I think these two are getting to look more like each other! Maybe the parentage thing with Mr K was wrong
